Last week Google announced a brand-new sitelink format for mobile that’s rolling out to search ads on Google.com. Today, Google was spotted testing the same format on Google search on desktop as well. The new format is very interesting to me as it seems much larger than the standard narrow text sitelinks that are currently on Google search. Some may argue that this larger sitelink format will help drive the organic search results down the page even more, helping fuel more clicks on the search results pages towards paid ads instead of organic listings.

Advertisers with access to this new sitelink format seem to include Airbnb as was the case during the last time this was spotted on mobile a few months ago.

UPDATE: seems very likely these are the price extensions and how they will show on desktop.

UPDATE #2: added screenshot to the bottom of this post with this now showing in the Google AdWords web interface — seems like they’re rolling these out.
