Vacasa is a vacation rental management company based in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2009, the company provides property management services for vacation rental owners, as well as a platform for guests to book properties for their vacations.
Vacasa is the only public company (in the USA) that focuses specifically on vacation rental management, and many smaller property managers in the industry study the performance of Vacasa and their public statements on their unit counts.
This post intends to bring more transparency to the net growth or loss of units on the Vacasa.com website.
Update: on December 30th, 2024 Vacasa and Casago announced a merger. I will continue to update this page until the merger is final, then I will adjust the page to track Casago inventory in 2025.
The merger is now final, but the Vacasa brand is still active – so I will keep updating this page.
