Snagged this today when performing a few searches — Google is apparently testing different colors for hover in desktop search results. This makes me wonder if Google is planning on rolling out the same color card based format that’s currently on mobile search into the desktop results. I’ve also seen different colors like red in testing across other searchers. This isn’t one that they appear to be testing too much — I’ve only seen it live three times over the past month.
