I’ve spotted this happening before, but I have now tested this across a handful of computers, logged in and out and it seems to be a more permanent test.

Google is now showing Adwords right-rail ads consistently above the Knowledge Graph snippets for local keywords like `dentist`. Currently, it’s pushing down map results as well. It looks like another move to show ads above other types of content, in this case a Knowledge Graph snippet. If you’re working on a Adwords account that’s seeing lower ranking, this could potentially boost click-though-rates for keywords like this search example shows.
