The Homeowner Landing Page Funnel

Most managers lose owner leads before a prospect reads a single word — because the page is a brochure doing a funnel’s job. Rebuild it section by section, in the order that moves a skeptical owner to signed.

The play

  1. Audit where your owner links actually go

Click every CTA on your current owner page like a skeptical owner would. We routinely find forms forwarding to a different domain, a generic corporate site, or a dead end. Owner leads must be captured on the page ad traffic lands on — fix the plumbing before the paint. If your website developer is the bottleneck, don’t wait: stand the funnel up on an independent domain or subdomain (yourbrand-owners.com) — it’s become our standard build path when dev queues stall the money page.

  2. Open with hero + trust bar

A benefit-led headline (“Your [market] home, earning more, cared for like ours”), your owner USP in the subhead, one great property photo, and the CTA. Directly beneath: a slim trust strip — Google rating, platform badges, years operating, homes managed. Credibility before they’ve read a word.

  3. Agitate the real pains

Name what they’re living: the 11pm guest texts of self-managing, the neglect of a big-box manager, the fear of what the “good” weeks should have earned. The section that says “we know exactly where you are” is what makes everything after it land.

  4. Make the earnings estimate the centerpiece

An earnings estimator — even a simple “get your projection” form staffed by a human — is the highest-converting element on any owner page. “What could my home make?” is the question they arrived with; answer it in exchange for contact info.

  5. Stack proof, reversals, and the close

Owner testimonials (video if you can get it), a self-vs-big-box-vs-you comparison table, risk reversals (no long lock-in, cancellation terms in plain English), a short objection-crushing FAQ, and a closing CTA — “Schedule a time to chat” out-converts “Contact us.” Add a sticky mobile CTA; owners read this page on phones.

  6. Point traffic at it and keep score

Owner-intent search terms (“vacation rental management [market]”) deserve their own search-only campaign into this page — and one page PER market with the market name in the H1 if you operate in several: session recordings show owners actually read this page, and a generic two-market page converts measurably worse. Track form starts, completions, and consult bookings; iterate quarterly like the funnel it is.

What to expect

Timeline
Buildable in a focused week; conversion differences visible within the first month of owner traffic.
Benchmark
Overhauling an outdated owner page is usually the single fastest ROI in owner acquisition — it upgrades every channel pointing at it simultaneously.
Good result
Owner inquiries arriving warmer and pre-sold — asking about onboarding timelines instead of leading with commission price. A dedicated owner campaign into a good page can produce a steady monthly stream of qualified conversations even at modest budgets.

Watch-outs

Immediate action

Load your owner page on your phone right now and click every button. Every link that doesn’t capture or book a conversation goes on this week’s fix list.
