Free tool for vacation rental managers
Can AI assistants actually read your vacation rental website?
Enter your site. In about fifteen minutes you get a PDF that grades it against our 24-point AI visibility checklist and tells you, in plain English, what to fix first and what is already working.
No sales call required to get the report. We crawl politely, one page per second, and never change anything on your site.

What the audit checks
Showing up in AI answers is a byproduct of a site that machines can read. The checklist works in five layers, in order, because a crawler that cannot reach a page never sees the schema on it.
- Crawler access. Whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and the others are allowed in by your robots.txt, your firewall and your CDN, and whether your property facts exist in the HTML without JavaScript.
- Machine-readable content. An llms.txt index, plain-text versions of property pages, and real pages for the collections guests ask for (pet friendly, hot tub, large groups).
- Structured data. Whether each property is typed as a vacation rental with amenities, reviews, nearby places and honest pricing, and whether your business and site are identified sitewide.
- Quotable copy. Whether pet policy, check-in, fees and distances to named places are written as sentences a person would read, because that is what assistants quote.
- Measurement. The four things to instrument so you can prove any of this worked.
Each check comes with what the crawler saw, what it means for your site, and the standard fix. The report also shows where AI answers mention you today: how many Google AI Overview and ChatGPT answers cite your site, which pages they cite, and whether ChatGPT names you when a guest asks about your market.
How it works
1. You enter your website.
We crawl about a hundred pages at one request per second with a normal browser identity, and probe it as seven named AI crawlers.
2. Our checklist grades it.
The grades come from the crawl, not from a model. An AI model writes the plain-English explanations from the evidence, and the report says so. A copy of every report goes to a person at BuildUp Bookings.
3. You get a PDF by email.
Score, the three things to fix first, what is already working, every check layer by layer, a page on where AI answers mention you today, and a closing page on the marketing fundamentals that still decide most bookings.
What this will not do
- It will not promise you rankings, mentions or bookings. AI answers are probabilistic; the same question asked a hundred times gets many different answers. The audit tells you whether your site is readable and quotable, which is the part you control.
- It will not grade property pages it cannot find. If your booking engine draws them with JavaScript, the report says so instead of guessing, and the optional links box lets us grade them anyway.
- It will not run if your site blocks our crawler. You get an honest email, and Conrad runs it by hand within two business days.
- It will not replace the basics. If you are not emailing past guests or your direct booking path is slower than Airbnb's, the last page of the report says so and tells you to start there.
Built by the team that does this for vacation rental managers every month
BuildUp Bookings is a marketing agency that works only with vacation rental managers. The checklist behind this tool is the one we run on client sites. The crawler is ours. The report is the same one we would hand you on a call, minus the call.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. You get the full report. We may follow up by email a week later to ask what you learned and whether you want help. You can say no.
Will this change anything on my site?
No. The crawler only reads pages, slowly, the way a careful visitor would. Nothing is written, submitted or logged in.
How long does it take?
Usually ten to fifteen minutes from submit to inbox. Large sites or slow servers can take longer. If nothing arrives within an hour, check spam, then reply to the confirmation email.
What do you do with my email?
We send the report to it and may follow up once. You are not added to a newsletter unless you ask.
My site is managed by my booking software vendor. Can I still fix things?
Usually yes. Most items are robots.txt, firewall and content changes your vendor or developer can make. The report names who typically owns each fix.
Can I run it on a competitor?
The tool is for your own site. The report goes to the email you give us, so there is nothing stopping you, but the follow-up will be about your business.
