Level 1 – Basic Email Marketing Package #
What Is Included:
- Standard, automated 4-message welcome series.
- Purpose: To greet new subscribers and introduce them to your company and home(s).
- What It Is: This includes a popup installed on your website to collect email addresses from new visitors. Visitors who opt in will receive a 4-message series (separated by one day each) that essentially lays out the selling points of your product and destination. It’s also a great place to include a special offer, if you can, to “seal the deal” at conclusion.
- Regular, ongoing newsletters (monthly pacing is recommended for most clients)
- Purpose: To achieve brand recognition and communicate “pitch points”, special offers, local information and any other relevant messaging.
- What It Is: This includes a combination of timely news from your company and destination, upcoming popular events to plan for, new/featured properties, links to your blog articles, guest reviews, procured destination videos, and more.
- Archival/cleanup of hard bounces every six months. Segments will be created (as system reporting allows) to identify least engaged subscribers for review and archival consideration.
Level 2 – Extended Email Marketing Package #
Includes everything in Level 1 package plus:
- Automated greetings
- Purpose: To confirm bookings or welcome guests upon arrival – requires connection to reservation or booking platform(s). (StayFi, Reservation systems etc…)
- “Just in case” messaging for disaster scenarios.
- Purpose: Intended as a damage control service in times of natural disaster or similar situations when prompt, newsworthy communication is required to salvage bookings and calm worries.
- Quarterly pet promos
- Purpose: Sent to guests and potential guests who show an interest specifically in pet-friendly properties and activities.
- Special offer promos
- Purpose: To communicate last-minute cancellations, special offers, or other quick, timely messaging.
Level 3 – Deep Targeted Guest Nurturing #
Includes everything in Level 1 & 2 packages plus:
- Creation of audience survey to gather data for segmentation purposes.
- Post-departure automation
- Purpose: To request reviews and repeat bookings – requires PMD integration that includes check-out dates.
- Event-based targeting
- Purpose: Guides built to promote bookings based around specific annual events, sent to segments based on opt-in interest.
- Location-based targeting
- Purpose: To identify popular location demographics for potential staycation/drive-to marketing messages.
- Messaging based on travel party
- Purpose: Guides designed around couples, families, and group interests, including activities and best property recommendations, sent to segments based on opt-in interest or past stay data.
- Interest-based messaging
- Purpose: Plays on top interests and highlights that draw guests to your destination, segmented by guest interest opt-in for these topical “guides” (EX: Fishing, ski resorts, fall foliage leaf-peeping).
